For anyone who has ever experienced a medical nightmare, a life curve ball or a sick loved one; you understand the grief, fear, heartache and worry that drowns a family during times they are most fragile.
Our focus is solely to help Annabelle attain the help, medications, surgeries, consultations and answers her little body needs. She is fighting the hardest battle of anyone we know, the least we can do for her is make her comfortable. At a price-tag of several hundred dollars x prescription, thousands of dollars for consultations out of state that are not covered by insurances, routine surgeries or simply the gas costs for travel - our family struggles to provide Annabelle with her most basic needs. Costs that we never would have thought would strike our family.
I do not know how anyone, no matter how wealthy, could afford the financial nightmare our family is living. I have spoken to numerous families and our stories are the same "The costs alone will drown you, sometimes faster than the heartbreak and grief." We are a strong family. We trust in the Lord to protect us, but he isn't always at CVS when Annabelle is in tears and needs medication the most. Our family works full time, every single day. We cannot afford to stay home with Annabelle no matter how much we want to spend with her during this time, financially - it's impossible.
Our family prides itself by helping others. We spend as much time as possible praying for those that need answers as badly as we do. If you have ever spent more than 5 minutes in our home and close to our lives, you will know how quickly we will hand you a shirt off our backs. That is the way we live our lives and we are so very blessed to be surrounded by others who do the same.
Any donation, no matter how large or small, regardless of it's value - is value to our family. The blessing of your prayer for help for Annabelle, the blessing to put us on your prayer list at church or the $1 you can spare for Annabelle, means the world to her future. Anything that you feel compelled to participate to help Annabelle (or hey! join us for an evening BBQ for just some friends/family time in the comfort of Annabelle's own home!), we are honored. We are honored to have you in our lives, no matter how near or far. We are blessed to call you part of our family, acquaintance or blood. Annabelle thanks you. She deserves every single penny and promise this world can give her. She is doing the hard work, let's pave the road a little easier for her.
